We’re looking for exceptional candidates to facilitate EMM’s global expansion in Canada, the America’s and Australia.

What you will bring to the role:

The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic individual who is able to work autonomously but also be a key member of the team to ensure the successful delivery of projects. The right attitude is essential for this role. We are seeking a dynamic, curious and enthusiastic individual, who possesses strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with colleagues around the globe, contractors, and clients to achieve successful project outcomes.

Post-secondary (B.Sc. or higher) degree in chemistry, geology or environmental/earth science, with a background in math, statistics, geochemistry, analytical chemistry, environmental chemistry, mining engineering or similar.
Eligibility for professional accreditation (GiT or EiT) in at least one Canadian province; professional designation will be seen as a significant benefit (P. Geo. or P. Eng.).
Proven level of technical expertise within geochemistry / hydrogeochemistry and have a working understanding of regulatory obligations for mining projects in Canada.
Ability to manage your own time and prioritise and balance your individual needs whilst assisting the team achieve the bigger picture.
An interest in client liaison and project management and an appreciation for the need to be working to deadlines and within agreed budgets.
Proficient in the use of industry software such as GoldSim, Geochemist Workbench, PHREEQC or Excel/VBA and desire to continue to develop these skills.
Focussed on building trusted relationships and working collaboratively with both clients and colleagues to deliver exceptional outcomes that make a difference.
